Roshan Villa Town

Roshan Villa Retreat is a gated community consisting of 38 villas and common areas. The retreat is located in Safa Dasht Karaj to the west of Tehran. The ambitious yet sophisticated design is tailored to successful professionals who desire a mix of vacation and residential homes away from the metropolitan chaos of the Iranian capital. Designed in the flesh by Hadi Tehrani over the course of a year with an international team, the concept evolved from a simple drawing to a sophisticated plan of a community, including luxury villas and bespoke details.
The Canyon, a modern interpretation of the Shazdeh Mahan Gardens near Kerman, forms the center of the 70,000-square-foot retreat. A vibrant, leafy focal point complete with extensive "features" in terms of water as well as meditation pools and over 5.1 kilometers of permanently assigned paths for walking and biking. The green ribbon connects all parts of the community and acts as a link between the community center at the entrance and each villa.
The levels of a villa are given the feeling of a certain dynamism: through cantilevered balconies on the upper floors that offer a view over the canyon; the lower floors benefit from mirrored surfaces and private swimming pools. Thanks to close collaboration between the architect and interior designers, human nature has been successfully placed at the center of the villas. Creating a serene environment by means of a balanced approach to light and space has priority in each living area. The combination of high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows links the inner and outer worlds. Green landscapes, treetops and reflections from the swimming pool create a sense of peaceful tranquility. Upon entering each room, visitors cannot help but feel a sensation of serenity and tranquility.
